The Kind Thieves
March 23 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Kind Thieves meld their traditional bluegrass chops and Appalachian hippie sensibilities into an eclectic, high energy jam that you don’t want to miss.
“Appalachia is an eclectic region, it’s not just one type of music or one type of lifestyle,” Jobe said. “It comes easy when you have eight different inputs bringing you eight different types of Appalachia. What better way to represent such an eclectic region than by being an eclectic band? We play everything from psychedelic rock to bluegrass, folk music, and country.”
The eclecticism the band has adopted translates well to their live shows, where the band slips through genres effortlessly, much to the pleasure of their fans. Part of this can be credited to the instrumentation of the band, which includes electric guitars, mandolin, fiddle, trumpet, keyboard, banjo, auxiliary percussion and more.
